Hair tips? New hairstyle.. for flat thin dark hair? hair tips!?

Lets see if you want a new hair style you can add some bangs and get some long layers. It will make a difference in you flat hair and make some volume in it.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

So I basically ruined my already thin hair... it's like the thinest hair in the world, seriously. all of it in a ponytail is about a 2 centimeter diameter at most .......... also, it's full of split ends from crappy con-air hair straighteners... it's really unhealthy.... and I have no idea what shampoo or conditioner to use. I tried herbal essences, I tried l'oreal, pert, etc.... but none have worked, they just make my hair... look like I don't know how to brush it. also, my hair is a whole bunch of different lengths... so help o-o;?

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

I have super thin hair also. You cannot get rid of split ends once you have them. It's like getting a run in your panty-hose. Once it starts, it won't stop. It helps to brush wet hair with a comb and not a brush. I've found that BedHead products work really really well for hair.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

Believe it or not real Mayoneese in your hair will do wonders and keep trimming those split ends. Your hair will eventually grow back. It will take time and throw away the straighteners.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

i would reccommend washing your hair in actual green tea.

it sounds silly and stupied i had thaat SAME problem.

but i did that and now my hair is SOOO thick.

do it for about 1 month, and use green tea conditioner from an organic store its about 10-15 dollars.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

I'm so sorry. i had a nightmare like that a while ago. i had to go to the salon and have them do deep conditioning treatment. i bought REDKEN DEEP FUEL. it is a leave-in protein and lipid treatment for your hair. it's about $18 for 3. if you have the money to spend, go to a good salon and have them work on your hair and give you ideas of how to straighten it or whatever. hope it works out for you!!

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

Pantene is the one thing that keeps my hair healthy, just make sure you get the right formula for your hair type, since there are many.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

First you have to cut off all of those nasty split ends. This is why getting regular trims is very important. It helps promote healthy hair growth.

Next, try and take as much heat out of your morning routine as possible.

Then we get into the products. Try Dove or Biolage shampoos and conditioners. Try to shampoo every other day (but use conditioner everyday), so you wont dry out your hair anymore than it is now.

Do a hot oil treatment or deep conditioner (or both) on your hair at least once a week. Dove has this new conditioner out that's a deep conditioner you can use anytime you take a shower. Its in a black bottle and has the words "Deep Therapy" on it.

You could also ask around at your nearest hair store.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

first off.

try to cut way back on the irons.

second mayonase, and find a good shampoo.

aussie works really good but you could also try some more expensive stuff too. everyone has a favorite shampoo that works for them

and possible cut 2-3 inche off %26amp; give your hair a "fresh start"

and keep it healthy.

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

like im not really good with hair but i know how 2 keep mine healthy well first you should get in the shower i use Avon but any way you should do shampoo conditioner shampoo conditioner basically twice lol when you get out you should brush out any knots in your hair then you should ask someone to cut your hair relax just your dead ends and if you keep doing shampoo conditioner twice every night you should get thicker and healthier hair hope this helps %26lt;3

How do i fix my really badly damaged hair?

I think the expression "less is more" is appropriate here. Stop using the flat iron for a while. If you do use one, make sure it is a ceramic one; it's not as bad on your hair. You need to invest to some good shampoo and conditioner. Go to a salon. See if they carry Schwarzkopf, Aveda, or PhytoOrganics products. Any of these brands are great and have awesome conditioning treatments that it sounds like your hair needs. Also, let your hair air dry mostly before you blow dry it. Use a comb instead of a brush. And unless you just have really oily hair, try not to wash it every day. The natural oil in your scalp is good to help with the dryness you seem to be having. Hope these are the fixes you were looking for! Good Luck!

Age for hair thickening shampoo?

My son has thin hair, and he's 16, do you think its okay for him to use a hair thickening shampoo like L'Oreal Vive Pro

Age for hair thickening shampoo?

That stuff doesnt work that well. If he has thin are you want a shampoo and cond. that not only thickens his hair but also cleanses his scalp and helps heathier hair grow in. Try Nioxin Shampoo and cond. It's amazing. You can buy that at most Great Clips.

Age for hair thickening shampoo?

Yes, it won't do any harm.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

My dad said alot of people with thin hair would dream to have thick hair like mine, but i need to know if that is actually what people think.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

If its on your head its good. If its on your back, not so good.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

i had thick hair, but now i have thin. it makes my face look bigger.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Thick hair is very sexy

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

It's a great thing.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

depends.. thicker hair is sometimes harder to take care of.. for example if you wash your hair and let it air dry.. it would probably take around 2 or 3 times the time to dry than thinner hair. so its up to you and everyone else. personally i am just lazy sometimes and i don`t like taking care of thick hair.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

thick hair can be a pain... but yeah, you can do a lot more with it than if it's flimsy. lokk at angelina jolie etc... very full hair.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I have thick hair too and people compliment me all the time and I think thick hair is better than thin hair because when your old and your hair is falling out then you'll still have SOME hair and still look kinda younge i know that sounds wierd but thats how i look at it!

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Its kind of hard because when you go to curl it or streighten it, it takes so much more time. However thick hair is great!!

I myself use to be like you, but after 7 different hair colors and 3 bleeches I would pay to have someone else's hair on me.

However keep in mind whenever you dicide to do something new use pantene.. or the new Hairapy its great!!

Thick hair is perfect ur a lucky girl.. Now style it so u can have more compliments!!

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

GOOD! GOOD! GOOD! When you get older and start to thin out on top (and yes, women do thin out on top) you are gonna love your thick hair.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

it could be good and bad. u can do things that ppl wit thick hair can do. but not what thin hair ppl can do. your hair is prob'ly more manageable. i like thick and thin ppl hair. but i neither im in between. my hairs thick in the middle.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

yeah actually alot of people would die to have a little bit of thick hair if there hair is to thin

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I think that's a great thing but that all depends on you if you like it then it's good and if you don't than it's bad

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

thicker is better

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

i think thick hair is a good thing because if you have thin hair, you have just grow up and your hair would just fall off hehe but if you want thin hair, just layer it.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I LOVE MY HAIR IT IS THICK AND FULL OF VOLUME. YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY CAUSE PEEPS WITH THIN FLAT HAIR JUST CAN'T STYLE IT THE SAME.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

You can do so much more with thick hair. Your hair can look full with thick hair with any style. Love it girl.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

omg i have realllyyyyyyyyyy thick hair too and my parents say the SAME THING

they keep saying that i dont need to cut my hair or anything cuase i have to be grateful of what i have and most people dont have it..

yea i agree..but u can at least do SOMETHing to it..

but yea..its hard to like..straighen it..cause i remmber this one time my freinds mom straightend my hair and it took like.. an hour to straighten..

so yupp.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I dyed my hair alot w/ semi's and demi's, and I bleached it maybe 2 or 3 times while in high school. My hair is already thin, and god would I ever kill for thick hair! Mine always looks flat.......

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

thick hair is the absolute worst... if your a guy. If you be a dame, then like i guess it dont matter cuz you is gonna style it anyway

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

yes, it's true what your dad says. I have EXTREMELY thin hair, and I would love to have thick hair. But my sister has ECTREMELY thick hair and says she would love to have thin hair. Everyone wants what they don't have. You can always get your hair in lots of layers to thin your hair out. This way, if you don't like thin hair, it will always grow back in...

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Consider my 28 strands of hair and you tell me. lol

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I have thick hair too, and it can be a pain and hard to style. But thick hair is very sexy, and everyone tells me thay would kill for my hair. You just have to learn to embrace your thick hair!

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Absolutely! I have enough hair on my head for four people. What I like about it is that it has a lot of body. The only downfall I have found is that when I grew it long it was way too heavy and looked terrible. I wore it up most of the time. If kept at a medium length, it can be pulled back in the horrid humidity. Too short, be careful if it tends to be curly. Better thick than thin. Thin hair tends to fall flat sooner. Plus, you save the cost of having weaves put in. Enjoy what you have and make the most of it. The trick - find a good hairdresser who really knows what they are doing and talk to them.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I have thick hair and I used to hate it. Now I realize that it's actually pretty great. You can always have your hair thinned out if you want, but I think that thick and full is better.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Thick hair is beautiful if you have a cute hairstyle to accent it.

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

most people die for thick hair because so many people have thinning hair like my mom, but personally it was just soo unmanagable for me that my i told my hair dresser to thin it out, it is much more managable and i highly suggest you do it. my hair is seriously more healthier than before, i can run my hands through it and my hands won't get caught. i love it now!! it is much better, but you and me are still very lucky. good luck solving your hair problem!!

I have thick hair. is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Thick hair is great!

There have been so many, but another hair style question?

So I am a 19 year old Indian girl..with super long black wavy hair in its natural state but I straighten it so it is usually jet straight. My hair style right now is pretty boring, just my long hair that goes down to my bottom and it is barely layered (imagine a huge U and thats what my hair looks like). I curl in the ends and thats all I really do with my hair. It's super thick and I have no idea what hair style would look good. I love so many celebrity's hair styles but they have really thin hair. I want an easy and manageable hair style since I will be transferring to a UC next Fall and I want a new look. I'm tired of watching these fashion makeover shows and want one of my own haha!

Anyone know of any cute styles that a person with really long, naturally wavy and super thick hair could have? Pictures would be much appreciated so I could show them to my hair guy and he could do it just like that :) Thanks in advance guys!

There have been so many, but another hair style question?

Cut it to your shoulders. Then donate your hair to locks of love. Get your hair layered. It will look super cuteand will be a dramatic change for the better.

I wanna do my hair this way... help?

I wanna straighten my hair completely and then like use one of those hott iron scrunch ones that have like the three curling iron thnigs on it... I was thinking of just scrunching it on the top to give it more body and volume... I have thin hair and its about an inch and a half past my shoulders... I was wondering what I should put in my hair to help it look more big I usually just use hairspray and do it big like that but I don't know! It never really lasts big as I want it to. Do you think a black headband would look cute like a skinny one?

I wanna do my hair this way... help?

have you ever used the bun technique ?? lol well my hair gets really big and i liek it that way except i try to calm it down so it doesnt look so frizzy. When i get out of the shower I let it air dry til its damp then i put in either mousse or some kind of anti frizz creme and put it in a bun til it dries usually overnight is good and then when i take it out it leaves awesome curls and no frizz but it looks really nice you could try it ...you may need some sort of volumizing creme though

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

i have short thin hair and am 15 years old. i want to have long hair but dont know how to start and can only buy things at a local riteaid, kinney drugs, walmart, or super market. i need your help! any suggestions?

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

I had chin length hair up til I was in 8th grade. I am now a senior in highschool and I have hair that goes almost all the way down my back. There is no trick to getting long hair. You just have to take care of it, and get a very small trim (1/2 inch to an inch) every six weeks to prevent split ends. It can be a slow process depending on your hair. But I would suggest not dyeing your hair with perminant products because they can seriously weaken your hair.

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

seal the ends is pretty good. get it from hairdressers or supermarket

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

Your a little young and your parents might freak, but pregnancy vitamins will make your nails and hair grow twice as fast as normal. I take them just for the healthy hair and nails.

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

I advise not to use products your hair may grow faster the products mess with hair follicles causing it to grow irregular or not at all later hair products are scams

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

Regain.

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

If you can find GOJI berry juice (you can get it from www.freelife.com) I swear my hair grew crazy fast on it, it was suggested by my hairstylist and it works! I also felt amazing on it. In the past I have done meditations standing on my head so all the blood goes to my scalp, and I massage it too with a metal massager. Take some Liquid Silica and maybe some B vitamins and Biotin, they are all great for your hair. Omega 3 essential fatty acids from fish will make your hair stronger and softer too.

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

ask your parents first because you are young, but any vitamins with folic acid in them help. I am 26 and had short hair for ages, when i tried to grow it out, it didnt wanna grow. Now its growing finally, but i took a prenatal vitamin with folic acid in it. it usually works. it also will help your fingernails grow stronger and longer too. A good shampoo to use is also bought at walmart. It is called Tail and Mane. AND I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY,BUT you get it in the pet section....trust me it is for use on humans too. it even has directions for human use on the bottle. Its a large bottle and you can buy the conditoner to. good luck...

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

Your 15, and we don't no if you have allergies, sensitive skin, or what. I would say brush it every night use baby shampoo, and conditioner, don't get it cut,it you have bad slit ends, just cut a little of the ends only. Take care of your hair, never brush hair when it is wet use a comb, and start at the bottom first, it keeps your hair from breaking off, or being pulled out. I hope that helps you, I've only told you what I do, I have long hair, past the middle of my back. Good luck.

How can i grow long hair in a short amount of time with store bought products?

Maybe you can get some Ideas at tlhs.org (The Long Hair Site)

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

I am a teenager, and I have come to have really thin hair; from what used to be extremely thick. You can see light patches at the top of my head, ew. I am assuming stress is the cause (ever since finding a job). How can I save my hair?...without having to quit?

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

Hi hun sorry to hear that. You should know that losing anywhere form 100-300 hairs a day is normal. You expect more if you have stress, taking medication or it good be genetic. I would try Nioxin it works wonders I recommend it to clients. If you are serious and willing to help yourself here you go. www.nioxin.com or 1-800-628-9890

Hope this helps -L

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

Losing you hair is mostly genetic. There is nothing you can do about it.

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

rogaine may be able to help, but hair loss for males is caused by testosterone, and unless you wish to lose that you will lose your hair, kinda a trade off. I would talk to a doctor and ask if he could prescribe anything.

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

apply olive oil to your scalp or you can try rogain. if the problem persists as you get older i think your best option would be hair implants.. or you can just shave everything off now i think that looks good on some guys

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

There can be more than one reason for hair loss.

You have hit on one.. Stress.... Genetics..... poor nutrition.... believe it or not wearing a hat for long periods of time... using bar soap rather than shampoo.....

The best thing %26lt;IMO%26gt; to do would be to stimulate the blood flow to the scalp.. hence increasing the blood flow to the hair.... this can be done by brushing %26lt;ever hear 100 strokes with a brush a day to make hair grow longer%26gt; it works because it increases blood flow to the scalp... also think about going to a salon.. and having them do some scalp treatements.. if by chance you can find one that does low volt electric massage's even better.. this will bring even more blood flow to the scalp.

If it is nutritionally based.. step up on your diet.. your not getting enough protien... how are your nail's growing.. slower.. faster than usual???

genetic's.. well we are really stuck with those... so you would have to go the rogane.... talk to a doc route....

don't wear a hat anymore than you have to...

Good luck..

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

i'm sorry sweetie but there's not much you can do about it.....except wear a hat more often if you feel really self conscious

Good Luck ;-)

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

My hair is falling out with every shower I take, gobs at a time! My boyfriend is concerned, should I be? I've tried some vitamins, but they dont help much. Should I change my diet? Try a different shampoo? Or is it hereditary? (mom has real thin hair) Please point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Thyroid disease can make your hair fall out?

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Could be stress, could be something completely different. My advice is to see a doctor.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

If your mom lost her hair, too, it's probably hereditary.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

it could just be Genetics my mom has really thin hair and so did my grand mother.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

If you seek medical attention, the doctor will most usually check your thyroid function. Hair loss can be a result of thyroid malfunction, but it can be caused by other things. Not sure how much diet, hair products, or heredity play into that. Other than that, it's normal to lose some hair everyday. Anything too excessive, check with your doctor.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

it is probably breaking off--not falling out wear your hair down--never pull it up when it is wet! ever..try using panteen pro v extra strengthening do not brush your hair when its wet either if you use flat iron make sure you use protector on your hair.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

I've heard that falling hair or hair loss could be caused by stress and other psychological conditions. I think it would be good for you to try to eliminate possible causes so that you can get to the source. Do it one at a time so you can see what's working. You could also have alopecia so do ask your doctor about it. Gobs of hair falling out is definitely not normal.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

is your bf poisoning you..thats a sign of arsenic poisoning..keep an eye on him

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Since your mom's hair is thin, it could be hereditary. It also could be many things like: thryoid insufficiency, stress, medication, if taking any, recent anesthesia, etc. If it continues, see your Dr. To get a definite diagnosis, a sample of your hair can be sent to a lab for analysis.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Try Rogaine.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

I have some hair on my head doesn't seem to grow out?

some of it just grow out for about an 1 inch and stop growing. I find it where I divided my hair into one side from another. Those little hair in the middle doesn't seem to grow and a few of it stick up. though it's no obvious but if you look close you'll see it. Why doesn't it grow more instead?

btw I'm only 19 and have long thin hair.

I have some hair on my head doesn't seem to grow out?

it sounds like breakage from having thin hair.Use a wide type of pick or comb on your hair when its wet.Dont use any bristle brushes ever on wet hair.If your pinning it up or back make sure its not wet and tight that can cause breakage. The hair exspands when its wet so you dont want it tied back tight and wet.Use fabric scrunches never use rubber bands.

I have some hair on my head doesn't seem to grow out?

well im pretty shure its breakage ,,

My sister has the same problem ,,

Hers sticks up in the same placee, ,

Whenever u get ur hair done ,, cut ,, trimmed ask the stylist to fix it ,, she might cut it a little BUT DONT DO IT URSELF ,

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

I started having thin hair on my nipples when I hit puberty. But I didn't start to have 5 new longer thick pieces of hair on my nipples until I hit 20. I have 2 pieces of hair on each spot. What does this mean?

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

It is not unheard of but you should check with you doctor to make sure that you do not need a hormone suppliment, maybe estrogen. They will also advise you about whether of not to remove the hairs and how. Ask a doctor before doing anything that might cause you some discomfort. and good luck.

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

Big deal just pluck it and move on with your life...your not weird...as much as girls hate to admit it...it is normal to have hair in places guys dont assume we have hair...LOL...it is totally normal...i knew of people who had way more then this...

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

eeeewwww didnt know hair could grow there lol

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

It's all about genetics. Sorry for you.

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

maybe you were supposed to be a man

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

This mean's your starting to turn into a man, don't worry about hairs it's nature.

If you have any more Qs e-mail me at liamvanloggerenberg@msn.com

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

I'm sure it has to do with hormones, but I assure that it is completely normal. I agree with the poster above; pluck the hairs and get on with your life.

If it makes you that self conscious, you can always seek laser treatments, but that is more expensive than the plucking option. For 3 laser treatments, it will cost you around $400 USD.

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

I dated a girl that had the same problem. I just nibbled them off for her. Really!

Starting to have thick hair on my nipples at 20, so what does this mean?

lol, ive got a few on each one too

i just pluck them or shave them, they grow long if u leave them, like an inch

i dunno why they come, but im 32 and never had them 10 years ago, so u might get a few more, lol

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

and its soo annoying people always tell me thick hair is pretty but i cant do anything with it.....alls i want is thin hair that i can style.......any websites i can go to for help....or anyone here please help me!!!!!!!!!

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

omg! if you told me how to GET thick hair i would love you forever! :D maybe answer one of my hair questions. haha. i have a question that asks how to get thick hair. that would be great if you would. :)

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

You could get your hair thinned out at a salon and use a flat iron to make it seem more thin.

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

Not much you can do except buy a bunch of crap and waste your money.

or

Go to a beauty salon and ask what hair styles work best for your hair

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

I have the same problem and every1 loves it but i hate it. Mines frizzy wavey and too thick which makes it uncontrolable. The only thing that has eva worked on me is to use GHD hair straightner to straighten it and use the hair dryer with a ceramic round sharp brissle brush to flatten it from the top.

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

your lucky,I have always wanted thick hair.

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

I have thick hair too, but it's weird because sometimes it feels thick and sometimes it feels thin. To thin out your hair (but not too much because thin hair is bad) just go to the salon and ask your stylist for layers. The more layers = the more thin. But there's nothing wrong with having thick hair because when you're getting old and BALDING you will still have some hair on your head!

I have really thick hair and if you help me ill love you forever i swear!?

Ohh..I'm feelin your pain...I have very thick hair, and long at that. I finally got a stylist that knew how do layer it right. Just ask for long chunky layers all over. Then use a flat iron. I don't use the flat iron daily though, because I use enough heat just drying it. It takes me 20 min to blow dry my hair, no lie. But def. get layers!!! Hope this helps :)

I'm getting a hair cut soon and i want some thing new! Any help?

I have very flat and thin hair. I dont want to color it. My hair right now is a couple inches below my shoulder and i dont want to cut it very short, but i would like to do someting different with it. If you could help, it would be great!

I'm getting a hair cut soon and i want some thing new! Any help?

Maybe you should get it layered.

I'm getting a hair cut soon and i want some thing new! Any help?

Well depending on your hair colour now? I hear the golden blonde or brunette is in.

For a hair style check out these pics:

http://www.teenidols4you.com/picture.htm...

http://www.teenidols4you.com/picture.htm...

To get the curls use a good Shampoo and Conditioner and then use a curling iron.

I'm getting a hair cut soon and i want some thing new! Any help?

well... maybe you could cut it shoulder length and get some side swept bangs or something....

Or just get it layered - thats always cute!

Just an idea..

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

I just wondering if lack of vitamins and lack of drinking milk does it effect hair loss? I'm 20 now and since I was little I don't really drink milk. But I eat others nurtientions food for the vitamins. Does it effect hair loss? I have very very thin hair and everytime I wash my hair seems like I'm losing a lot? What is the best way to stay helathy hair?

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

Diet is paramount in the condition of ones hair. You do need calcium from milk or another source to supply the calcium for good hair. Most daily vitamins don't have calcium in them, but you can buy a supplement for it. The best way to have healthy hair is to eat a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables.

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

absolutely yes.

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

i think it can. i'm not sure. but test and see if you have alopecia. that's a hair loss desiese and my sister has it. but yes try drinking more milk, like eight glasses a day. i hope that helps. :)

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

Yes, I think some vitamins effect the hair, if I remember correctly b. But the most important thing is get LOTS of protein. That is what hair is made of, and without it, you don't get any. Dairy, meat, (soybeans if you are a vegetarian) are good sources.

Of course the vitamins add to the strength and vitality of your hair.

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

i thibk it might, but it could just be your shampoo. some shampoos like head and shoulders are really bad for your hair not only because its dried out, frizzy, and damaged, it makes it fall out more because of the harshness. try sunsilk anti-fall shampoo. it hidrates my hair , cleans, doesn't dry it out, and it helps for hair not to fall out as often. the conditioner is horrible(residue), so I would reccomend to use your own.

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

NO

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

Eat protein content food like DAL, FRUITS ALSO TAKE SOME VICTIM TABLETS WHICH WILL HELP YOU ALSO USE GOOD OIL

LIKE OLIVE OIL +COCONUT OIL IT WILL HELP YOU MAKE IT LITTLE WARM BEFORE YOU APPLY IT AND THE DAY BEFORE YOU ARE HAVING YOUR HEAD BATH WHICH WILL HELP YOU A LOT ALWAYS TRY TO DRINK MILK IT ALWAYS HELP YOU.

Lack of milk or nurtient does it effect hair loss?

There was a recent study done by the Cleveland Clinic about iron deficiency and hair loss.

"Although the data suggests that iron deficiency may be linked to several of the most common kinds of hair loss, there is insufficient evidence to recommend universal screening for iron deficiency in hair loss patients, the Clinic researchers report. Further research on this subject is necessary."

Since you are very young I would recommend talking with your doctor about the situation. They will recommend what type of vitamin supplements you should be taking.

They might even suggest a thyroid test, since hair loss is a symptom for thyroid disease/disorders.

Can I get a haircut after chemically straightening my hair?

I wanted to get a haircut- because my hair was unruly (very curly blonde thin hair) and since it was so curly I thought that if I cut it shorter- it would become even more curlier. My hair reaches about four inches past my shoulders- and I want to cut it to a length of right above my ear. My question is - is it safe to do this? I know that it is not safe to cut your hair BEFORE straightening it- but is it safe to cut it AFTER? If I can cut my hair safely I will- and then I can get the look I want with it but I don't want to do something that will put it in jeopardy. It has not been falling out (any more than before I straightened it- I was very careful with the process) But I am also afraid to comb it now that the bonds are split apart. So my question summed up is this- is it safe for me to get a haircut?

Can I get a haircut after chemically straightening my hair?

um, whoever told you that you can't cut your hair before having it straightened was lying to you. it is safe for you to get a haircut before and after a relaxer.

p.s. don't do relaxers at home anymore. thats not good at all.

Can I get a haircut after chemically straightening my hair?

Yeah u can, my cousin did that and got a hair cut and it was still straight

Can I get a haircut after chemically straightening my hair?

my mom went for a haircut, and she cut it first then the hairdresser straitened it, nothing happened... maybe not exactly for chemically, ask the hairdresser...

Wonderful hair dye?

I want to dye my hair on my own bc my hair dresser is charging me too much and to be honest she is really the only good hair dresser in town and i dont trust anyone else. but last time i dyed my hair she charged me close to 200 dollars! i cant afford that, especially when i start living on my own. i have really thin hair and its very fragile. what are some good hair dyes i could get a walgreens or walmart for thin hair. and i dont want something to damage my hair either.

Wonderful hair dye?

I wouldnt use any of the hair product from grocery stores...Harsh, and the color dont come out true...Besides, the application is key, and most people dont know how to apply it properly..They just put it all over the head..Cant get a good color doing it that way..All depends on what you have to start with in your natural or base color...200.00 dollars is alot for color..Try getting some one else, to do it..Maybe the next town over. It might be worth the drive..but dont do it yourself.

Wonderful hair dye?

If your hair is that thin and fragile you shouldn't be colouring it at all and your hairdresser should have told you that!! She knows you don't trust anyone and thats why she charges you so much! Find somewhere else and remember, they are obiliged to fix it for free if they mess up. But if I were you, I'd leave it for 6 months to a year and get some deep conditioning treatments on it instead

Wonderful hair dye?

I dye my own hair and it works just fine. But i do agree, don't get hair color from the grocery store they aren't as nice to your hair. What you can do is use what i use. Its called Wella's Hair color. You can find it at pretty much any beauty store in town depending on where you live i guess but its not expensive at all and its really good to your hair. You will need to buy the base for it too, you can find it there as well. I have really thick hair so i have to buy a couple boxes and it still only ends up costing me $12 altogether so if you have thinner hair i am sure it will be cheaper.....TRY IT.

O by the way my hair stylist recommended it to me because i couldn't afford to have her dye my hair either.

Cut It in shoulder lengh

Should I Cut My Hair? If So How?

Trim it, use a voluminizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner

Should I Cut My Hair? If So How?

Should I Cut My Hair? If So How?

I like guys with long hair. Just keep it pulled back then it will not both you. You can get a flat iron. You just take sections of your hair and run the flat iron. I have straight hair but it makes my hair look better. Good luck! Don't do something(cut) because someone told you to. Its your hair follow your heart because at the end of the day you are the one left wearing it. I still like guys with long hair though. wink wink

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

OKay so i have naturally curly EXTREMELY THICK hair and its pretty long, about right below my boobs to be exact haha and even longer when i straighten it and i havent had anything done to it in a year, not even trimmed so i'm going to get it trimmed and i really need to get it thinned because it makes me sick because its so out of control and aggravates me so i always end up putting it up if i try and where it down. But i'm afraid to get it thinned because ive had it done before and it makes my hair look damaged. So should i get it done or not? any suggestions...

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

one of the best ways to cut very thick hair is to get long layers. you can keep your hair the same length, but they'll make short layers all the way up to your face.

it is much easier to manage than it was when hair is really thick.

or they can take a razor and razor the underneath and then it wouldn't be as visible as thinning on the outside.

you should go to a professional stylist, not a place like best cuts or great clips. go to a real salon and spend 40 bucks or whatever because they know a lot more about cutting hair than girls at chain salons.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

Go for it.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

I wouldn't if its made your hair look damaged before. Maybe instead try to find a product to help you hair look better.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

When you got it thinned before, did you get it all one length, or layered? If it was layered before... I think getting it thinned but all one length (or maybe just tapered in the front) would help it to not look damaged.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

Tell your hair dresser exactly that and ask to get it thinned out just a tiny bit to see what happens. I have thick hair, too so i know what you're talking about.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

I have very long, thick hair, and with the right styling your hair can look more tamed but not thin %26amp; damaged. I would go to en experienced stylist, and rather than getting your hair "thinned", talk to him or her about a style that is healthy and flattering.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

Thinning technically is just cutting some and leaving the rest, so I'm not sure how it could make your hair look damaged...

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

sounds like my har,but i get mine thinned and its all good. i cant stand my hair but i luv it, lol. hun, just thin it out!!!

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

do what you want to do dont depend on us to tell you that if u really believe that you should get it thinned because it is annoying then go straight ahead but also remember that this change will affect you in the future think long and hard before you go and do something that you might regret in the future to come or even right after it is done

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

When you get your hair trimmed, do not only get it thinned but also get your hair dresser to add layers. This will give your hair volume and the look you have always wanted! I also have extremely thick hair and it works like a charm! I love my hair now and I know you will love this hair style too. Though, DO NOT get your hair cut too short, long hair is really in style right now, in fact I'm trying to grow my hair longer. Get your hair cut about 3 inches below the shoulders. That way it is long but it is also manageable.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

No, do not thin naturally curly hair. It will make your problem worse in the long run. If you have it trimmed regularily it will be better. Trust me on this, I have been a licensed beautician for 16 years, I come from a family with naturally curly hair and I myself have natural curls. Thinning is not good, it will make your hair bigger and you will end up with a wild amount of split ends.

I'm afraid to get my hair thinned.?

I thinned my hair once also..and it was great until it started growing back. It took forever to even it all out, and it too looked dry and damaged. After that I was told that people with curly hair shouldn't thin it out because you're going to make your hair look twice as thick as it was before you got it thinned out because of the curls.

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

i have pretty fine and thin hair and i straighten my hair every morning but by the end of the day my hair is always kinky and not straight !!!!!! ahhhhh wat to do??????

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

Mine is like this too. You could get it chemically straightened at a salon. Its a bit pricey but lasts for around 6 months (really worth it)

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

maybe you should try sunsilk's silky straight thing. the purple leave-on serum with bees wax.

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

You could try putting your hair up and straigtening it in sections that always works for me or it depends on the how good your straighteners are! Hope this helps

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

Use Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight spray right after you straighten it. It's amazing!

How to keep how hair straightened for longer??????

You need to use anti-frizz or silk infused hair serum and a hair protectant spray when straightening. After I straighten I usually spray a fine mist of hair spray over my hair and brush it straight. The brushing helps get all the stiff look out, but there is still hairspray in my hair holding it straight. Works well for me.

Hair question?

how can i make my thin hair look full?

Hair question?

eh blowdry it upside down with a brush and then when your done drying put a hairspray on it ( when your still having your hair upside down ) and then flip it up .. or you could try curling it .. if you use volumizing shampoos make sure you have at least 3 different types of them because your hair will get used to one and it wont work. get a deep cleaning shampoo, a ' normal one' and a really nice volumizing one and switch off every few days

Hair question?

Add volume either by teasing the hair at the roots or using volumizing creme. I just got this great new stuff by Aussie. I thinks its called Aussie vomuizing mousse, or something like that.

Hair question?

Volumising conditioners and mouses work but it's mostly how you dry it. Just blow dry it up side down it gives the roots volume.

Hair question?

If you have your hair cut with a razor it will move better and appear fuller. Good luck

Hair question?

As a hairstylist, I've learned it really isn't necessary for you to switch shampoo/conditioner regularly (just don't over-condition!). You just need to use a volumizing or thickening shampoo/conditioner, a root spray, and hair spray. Blow dry your hair with a large round brush at a 90 degree angle from your head (ie, if you're drying the back, pull the hair straight out, or straight up on the top). A great professional brand is "big sexy hair".

Also, all over color or heavy highlights will add fullness to your hair.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

lately in the shower my hair has been falling out a lot .. and i mean A LOT i have hypothyroidism and i know that's part of it but it's just getting really annoying since i hate thin hair, any advice or products on how to make hair less weak and breakable?

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

ok so if your hair falls out that might mean that you use too much conditionar, try using conditionar every other day (and remember to use very little). next; try getting shampoo that boosts up your volume and dont get shampoo that says "specially for thick, oily hair", because it will just make it thinner. If you want to take medicine then i think biotin would be the best choice; it helps with skin and promotes hair health, but make sure that you aren't allergic to the drug, so read the label first, you can buy it anywhere over the counter!!! and make sure your thyrod function is okay, and if you have any other symptom like joint pain or any skin rash, you should see a doctor, because this is a systemic disease.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

wht shampoo do u use? maybe ur doctor can suggest something for ur hair like a speacial shampoo....

sorry, i wasn't much help.

best of luck love

xoxo

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

well, it is normal for 100 hairs to fall out of everybody's head every day. now, sometimes, the hairs fall out of the scalp, but are still "somewhere" in your hair. so, when you comb it or take a shower, it seems as if a lot more is falling out, when it is just the ones from the past. and thin hair is not that bad. my hair is thick, and i mean too thick, it is poofy and thick and its just ugly.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

Pantene Restoratives. Ask a doctor on your hypothroidism what to expect health wise.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

Everyone loses between 40 %26amp; 120 strands a day, depending on how much hair you have, your age %26amp; your hair's growth cycle. People with fine hair tend to have more of it %26amp; therefore will lose more of it than their thicker-haired sisters %26amp; brothers. Your hair also thins as you get older, particularly after menopause for women, but the thinning will stop %26amp; not continue as it will for men.

Here are common causes of hair loss:

1. Seasonality. You'll lose the most hair in the fall -- typically November and December when hair reaches maturity in its growth cycle.

2. Diet. Hair loss can occur through poor dieting, tight ponytails, even with age. According to dermatologist George Cotsarelis, M.D., director of the University of Pennsylvania Hair and Scalp Clinic, iron deficiency may be the cause. He states in the April 2006 issue of 'Ladies Home Journal,' it might be worth checking your levels with your doctor %26amp; take a supplement if they're low.

3. Pregnancy Some women experience hair loss with pregnancy or as part of post-pregnancy hormonal changes. Other women experience hair loss when going on or off (usually off) the birth control pill.

4. Illness Sometimes it happens as a result of illness. Even stress, excessive weight loss, iron deficiency %26amp; thyroid problems can cause hair loss.

If you're really worried, ask your doctor, however, experts say you really only need to worry if your part is getting wider or you can see your scalp through your hair. But don't worry, not all hair loss is permanent. There is a specialty doctor called a 'trichologist,' an expert in hair problems. You can make an appointment and ask the doc for a diagnosis.

Extra tip: If you're a woman you won't experience male-pattern baldness. Women's hair tends to thin all over. The only FDA-approved hair loss treatment for women is Minoxidil, according to scalp specialist David Kingsley, PhD, in the November, 2005 issue of 'O' magazine. Minoxidil works in 60-70 percent of cases by improving the follicle's ability to produce hair, Kingsley said.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

I had a friend who started getting bald spots at the age of 16, so had way to much stress in her life. You might want to contact you doctor and ask what to do to help you out.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out

http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

My hair actually FALLS OUT .. why?

Don't know exactly why you're losing your hair, miss.

Ask your Haircutter's place that you go get your hair trimmed. They can Answer your 'Hair Loss' question.

I have a problem with thinning hair?

they say it's normal to lose 50-100 hairs a day but i'm worried since it happened (just a few days ago) because i don't lose hair this much before. i remember not more than 10!

it's the first time that happened to me. now it falls whenever i comb it especially when i just got out of the shower. i also noticed the hair that falls out got little white "eggs" on the bottom (i don't think it's dandruff and i don't have lice...)

is this part of getting older? i'm only 23. i wonder if it's also because of stress? i've been really tired and i'm a late sleeper. will this stop soon? if not, how can i reduce the hair fall? and where should i go for a check up? i lessen the shampoo for a while and replaced it with conditioner.

I have a problem with thinning hair?

That's the roots of your hair. Probably not eggs. If your concerned go see a dermatologist. Alos if your over stressed take a few days off!

I have a problem with thinning hair?

There are a few reasons this could be happaning to you. First I'm sure it's been a while since you had a trim, I don't mean a full on cut- just 1 inch off the ends is all you need. If you have naturally curly, wavy or textured hair lots of shedding happans when the hair gets long and does need the ends trimmed. And your 23, you need to be taking a woman's multi-vitamin especially if you are stressed as your body will use up more vitamins when you are under any stress and it won't go to your skin or hair. If you smoke, this uses vitamins and could cause poor hair/skin side effects also.

You do lose hair because of stress, but it could be because of stress, or any of the above mentioned..

To lessen the amount of hair that is shedding, I can tell you if you find a salon with the product Nioxin, the bionutrient cleanser and scalp treatment is the best thing ever. It stops excessive shedding and improves your hair's overall health. It is expensive but it's worth every cent.

To see some results nioxin has done for others look up "nioxin" in yahoo search. It will have an offical site explaining exactly how and why it works.

I have a problem with thinning hair?

You got dry scalp or you may have fungi in your scalp. Once a week you massage your hair w/ avocado oil, henna or any any massage conditioner and let it stay for 30 minutes before taking a bath. During the week you use the Nizoral at least 2x a week and the Pregroe treatment shampoo alternately. I advise that you dilute the shampoo in a small quantity of water in a dipper then pour thru your entire scalp than putting them in your hand coz it only touches the hair and not the scalp. Then after rinsing dab a Pantene Hairfall Control Conditioner on your hair. You may also take hair vitamins.

Other factors of falling hair are stress, poor health, 3 months after giving birth and age.

I have a problem with thinning hair?

Woman, you gotta stop stressing, not sleeping will not do it alone but if you're stressed out and NOT sleeping much. That'll do it.

I know this because i have the same problem. My hair started falling a lot around your age, i'm now 28, it's not as bad now but i have also become a lot healthier. If you're taking birth control, that might do it because it changes your hormone levels, that in itself is a cause of stress to your body.

I hate to say this to you but if you color your hair a lot, like more than once every 3 months, that's not good, you might want to refrain from that. Also start using a clarifying shampoo once a week followed by a deep conditioner. The clarifying shampoo will clean your scalp and let it breath and will help allow new hair growth. I use pantene for all my hair cleaning needs, it works great.

and last but no least, if you blow dry your hair a lot, it maybe drying your scalp. If you don't think so because it's oily...that's a sign of it. Your scalp maybe producing extra oil to moisturize itself.

I feel for you....good luck.

I have a problem with thinning hair?

my sister faced this problem once then she changed the shampoo and the problem stopped.Sometimes allowing the dirt to accumulate also can cause vigorous hair fall.In your diet include foods rich in calcium and iron like spinach, milk, sprouting grams and green leafy vegetable AND also don't take calcium and iron together as they will not be absorbed by the body atleast there should be 6 hours gap between the intake of calcium and iron.If u give an hot oil treatment without vigorous massage and after few hours use grinded leaves of eclipta alba u could increase the volume OF UR HAIR.

Long hair or short hair?

On a girl with fine (thin) hair, what do you think looks better?

Long hair or short hair?

Well it depends on your face, people with thinner faces look better with short hair, people with thicker faces look better with medium layered hair, on most ocassions. For fine and thin hair, i would cut it short and layered because when it grows back i can promise you that it will be thicker and fuller and more beautiful. Hope i helped! I personaly perfer shorter hair, that is if the person with the hair has a more slender face.

Long hair or short hair?

short

Long hair or short hair?

It really depends on your bone structure. Girls with fuller, rounded faces should go with long layers. But if your hair is thin, long hair might actually make you look bald, so shorten it to about shoulder length.

Long hair or short hair?

this isnt the best answer but what ever is u

Long hair or short hair?

short

Long hair or short hair?

long

Long hair or short hair?

I have fine thin hair, so I would say long and layered.

Hair Styles?

okayy, so i have blonde VERY thin hair,i cant scrunch it, or curl it, so what else can i do? what would be cute?

thanks[:

Hair Styles?

Leave it as is.....it's wicked cute and ur gorgeous.......i like the bow, maybe you should just expiriment with different hair clips, do pigtail braids, a messy bun, just try out different styles. Wash your hair and when you are dressed put mose it your damp hair and comb it through, flip your head upside down and blow dry it then bruch it out with your head upside down brushitn it all foward and flip your hair back, fix your part an viola, you have nice body to your hair and if you want to spice it up..lol...add a cute little clip like the one you are wearing in your picture.

Hair Styles?

A Buzz Cut would be SO cute!

Hair Styles?

Aw, I like it the way you have it in that pictur. You could also try loose braids at the sides, that would look cute.

Hair Styles?

It depends if you are looking for a formal occasion, or an everyday look. For a formal hairstyle - add body by putting in lots and lots of product. I would try a clean, crisp french twistl Since you can't scrunch or curl it, I would definately stick to a clean, crisp, updo.

Hair Styles?

put it in a high ponytail and let little wisps hang down.

Hair Styles?

You could always cut it with a style. I know it seems like the long hair look is in, but maybe just changing up your style would give you the look you want without having to put in large amounts of product. Plus, if you made it shorter with a style, you could put in product without making it heavier or full of product. Personallyi'm not a fan of product, so i try to keep it as natural as possible..like yours is now!

Hair helllllp!!!?

what's your question? if you're asking if that'll look good, it depends on what your face shape is.

Hair helllllp!!!?

I like that style, give it a shot. Its just hair and it'll grow back if you dont like it

Good luck

Hair helllllp!!!?

flattop

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

I have very thin hair, but alot of it, so it looks thick but it isn't.

The problem is, I can curl my hair and it looks great, for 10 minutes and then it goes straight again.

I am looking for a good hair product that will allow me to curl my hair and have it stay, without the "helmet head" you get from a ton of hairspray.

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

Paul Mitchell!!! I had the same prob and now wow, big diferance

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

L'oreal mousse- you put it in while your hair is wet and then blow dry to your hairstyle-- it will hold.

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

Oh you should use dove's leave in conditioner. You put it in while ur hair is damp and style it and blow dry and its perfect.

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

Use a thickening shampoo such as Wash N Curl, or any volumizing shampoo. The problem isn't that you have too much hair, but that it is silky. (I have the same problem) Another thing you can do is to damage your hair. Dye it, even if its the same color, get a permanent wave, and when you wash your hair, don't use conditioner for about a week or so. You're hair will dry, not be damaged, and will in turn hold the curl.

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

De-fi they sell it at all major beauty supply stores its about 10 bucks but is so worth it. It will hold any hairstyle you can imagine!!!

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

Have you tried Big Sexy Hair?

What is a good hair product for hair that won't hold a style?

Use a setting lotion to your hair. I roll up my hair with the plastic, magnetic rollers with the smooth barrel and then I apply a setting lotion to my hair, and my curls last all day and their nit stiff, hard, they have bounce, body, and shine. I use Lotta Body Setting Lotion when I roll up my hair. I only apply the setting lotion once a week, but I roll up my hair everynight.

What are the best volumizing shampoos and conditioners to not weigh hair down, yet my hair was strai

My fine thin hair was permanently straightened by the chi system. What shampoos and conditioners are good to use that will also keep the broken flyaways in line and help my hair get better yet not weigh it down. Is the Kenra line good?:? I can't use hot oil treatments or heavy conditioners as they weight my hair down.

What are the best volumizing shampoos and conditioners to not weigh hair down, yet my hair was straightened.?

AVEDA!!!!!!!!!!!! There confixer and hang-strait are the best!!

What are the best volumizing shampoos and conditioners to not weigh hair down, yet my hair was straightened.?

I found this awesome conditioner. Its by Aussie and its 2 in one. Root/ends. Cleans ends and gets rid of oily roots. Works great

What are the best volumizing shampoos and conditioners to not weigh hair down, yet my hair was straightened.?

hey um pantene volumous shampoo and conditioner and the best and especially when you blow dry your hair after washing at the roots your hair will get super volumous(flip your hair upside down and blow dry at the roots)

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

i guess you can say i have scene hair with teased and choppy and the top and long and staright with extenions at the bottom. the only thing is is that i have extremely thin hair so it takes alot to get it poofy but i find it goes down within second period or so. what can i do to make it last longer??? products??? combs??? anythung :p

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

Big sexy Back Comb In A Bottle is the most amazing teasing product..used with or without teasing will give u that just teased look that will last all day/ night. i use it on top of teasing to get double the look. then finish off with big sexy spray and play!!

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

i suggest Sebastian hairspray!! its amazing. its the hairspray they used in the movie hairspray. lol

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

*Bed Head Manipulator* hair product. Hairspray it when you've finished. There is a youtube video- you should search something like "teasing hair".

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

Goop ,there is this Redken stuff called hair wax.It texerizes and thickens try it.Try all different kinds of goop till you find the one that works best for you:)

Help with keeping hair teased and up!?

Well, I love Big and Sexy's spray and play, but if you are wanting more hold I would probably use the spray and play harder. One awesome hairspray I recently purchased though was Aquage volumizing hairspray, they all work excellent. If you are wanting to keep volume at your roots either spray the hairspray at them or get a paste that will give you the hold and lift (Big and Sexy's Short Sexy quick change, and any kind of pomade will work too) for utensils for backcombing I use a three prong pocket brush that you can get a sally's (http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1810/183... ...what it looks like), then I usually lift the hair with a double dip pik and spray it with hairspray .. also from sally's (http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1820/183...

Fine hair solution?

My hair is really depressing me! I havent got thin hair, its just fine. I use great shampoo, thickening shampoo... but the problem is its always limp. How can i boost it?

conditioners make it feel even worse.

Fine hair solution?

you can volumenizing shampoo from Pantene... use it without a conditioner.. it should help you increase the volume... it worked for me when I tried... worth giving it a try...

i suggest moussee too but you say it makes your hair frizzy... use lots of conditioner before u use mousse and see if that helps you :)

Fine hair solution?

Put volumising hair mousse on it before it drys

should give it a boost

:)

( soz if you live in america and call it something else and you don't have a clue what hair mousse is :P )

MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO DESPERATELY WORRYING ME?

I have got very thin hair%26amp;short222222222222besides there r very curls in the front .i wanna look them beautiful, silky.as seen in tv's models hav very silky hair which is silky .i want my hair to lookso.suggest me plzzzzzzzzzzzz in away that doesn't damage my hair.

MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO DESPERATELY WORRYING ME?

just buy sunsilk 24/7 creme and put it in your hair and dont blow dry it. You hair will look awesome

MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO DESPERATELY WORRYING ME?

if your hair is very thin then you don't want to apply too much heat on to it. if you blow dry your hair upside down that will give it more volume in order to make it shiny sparingly run a hair serum through your hair. too much will make it look greasy, a tiny spot should be enough.

Hair question ?

i have thin hair and i want it to be thicker. is there any way to make it thicker ?

Hair question ?

get trims often for the "healthy" look

in the mean time..volumizing mousse..treseme's good

and flip your head upside down while blowdrying

gives that boost

Hair question ?

there is a thickening shampoo out there, a lot of brands you can find in the supermarket sell them. also if you use olive oil in your hair maybe once a month or so it can make your hair thicker and healthier.

How can I help my hair to grow?

I want to let my hair grow out as much as possible, but I want to know any suggestions that will help it to grow out healthy. I have pretty thin hair, but I have a lot of hair so it looks fairly thick.

How can I help my hair to grow?

I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.

GNC makes a tablet called "Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women, the pills are taken daily, 2 pills a day. They are HUGE and very hard to swallow, if you have any trouble at all with large tablets, then I wouldn't recommend these. The 2 pills also contain only 1200 micrograms total of Biotin, which is the main supplement needed for hair to grow faster and stronger. You should try to get a minimum of 2500 micrograms of Biotin daily to improve hair's rate of growth and its condition.

ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that

http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...

This is in capsule form and much easier to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.

I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.

The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.

My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.

The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of its growth.

How can I help my hair to grow?

Try this link: http://www.longlocks.com/how-to-grow-lon... They give good tips on how to grow long hair.

How can I help my hair to grow?

Well nothing really helps....alot of the stuff is false advertising....But I did hear once that milk helps your hair grow faster and healthier....not sure if its true...but Id give it a shot....

How can I help my hair to grow?

eat more protien.......fish is great for that.

How can I help my hair to grow?

Try any hair product with biotin. It thickens hair and helps it to grow. There are also vitamins with biotin that can help hair, skin and nails. One that I use is called VitaTress. I take chemo so I really needed it. It makes a total difference.

How can I help my hair to grow?

If you want your hair to grow out healthy

How can I help my hair to grow?

How can I help my hair to grow?

Braid it before bedtime.

How can I help my hair to grow?

massage hair with wheatgerm oil, which is pure form of vitamine E. take high frequency treatment on hair.

How can I help my hair to grow?

i am not sure what your hair type is but a good idea would be to make sure that your ends are trimmed and moisturize the ends daily. this will prevent split ends. also use the least amount of heat possible, try air drying and alternative hairstyles that require less heat i.e. braids, up-dos, etc.

How can I help my hair to grow?

My hair used to be like that but now i use a shampoo n conditioner called garnier fructis long and strong. It contains natural vitamins from fruits it has worked mircales on my hair. You can also get it in a serum for daily use. And just for an added bonus it smells amazing!

How can I help my hair to grow?

Give your entire scalp a nice relaxing massage with your fingertips. Use your nails lightly...not only does it feel great, but it actually stimulates the hair folicles, which allows for faster growth. Also do this while shampooing your hair, it also removes particles in the hair root which block growth. Usually using alot of product builds up in the root, but so does sweat and other stuff,by massaging your scalp you WILL help it grow a bit faster.

How can I help my hair to grow?

Nioxin is probably the number-one product line to help your hair grow. It blocks a chemical that causes your follicles to stop producing, and it also cleans out the actual follicle pocket, which can sometimes clear the way for a hair to grow again! The best deal for you is to get the starter kit at a beauty supply store, it contains three smaller versions of the products but gives you an idea of what you're getting into at a fraction of the price. That way you can see it work for yourself before you've committed as much money to the process.

How can I help my hair to grow?

KEEP YOUR HAIR REGULARLY TRIMMED, AND IT'LL HELP KEEP THE DEAD ENDS GONE. WHEN YOUR HAIR HAS SPLIT ENDS IT GOES UP TOWARD YOUR SCALP WHICH IN TURN MAKES YOUR SPLIT ENDS LONGER!! DON'T EVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT'S WET TO GET THE KNOTS OUT ALWAYS USE A LARGE TOOTH COMB. TRY NOT TO PUT YOUR HAIR IN 'STRESS',SUCH AS BLOWDRYING, CURLING IRON, FLATTENING IRON, COLORING, PERMING, PUTTING YOUR HAIR UP IN A PONYTAIL ALSO PUTS STRESS ON YOUR HAIR. TRY TAKING A PRENATAL VITAMINS FOR KEEPING YOUR HAIR AND NAILS GROWING.

Take good care of your hair! It will add to your charm - who can resist a person with lovely, silky hair? So do try out the above tips! Hope these littles tips have been useful! :)

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

I want to know from your experience if pantene prov shampoo cause hairloss?I have heard that Pantene contains wax,and many other chemicals that damage ouy hair, using always it.Is it true?Because my boyfriend has thin hair and he wants to start using it?What to recomend him.To use or not to use?

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

I hpe not!!!!! a lot of hair does come out in wash but that's just me!!!!! and I always seem to have plenty left on my head!!!!!!

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

I dont think so. I been using pantene for like years now.... and i still have my hair lol matter of fact its past my waist now.

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

That is totally untrue. I have used it for the last 5 years, and I have very thick hair. (sometimes I wish it WAS thinner lol). Tell him to use the one for volume, my husband has the same problem and it helps.

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

i have been using it for ten years nothing wrong with my hair i think if that was true it would have been taken off the market by now.

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

it depends on ur hair type it suits sum 1 and not 2 d oder so change it now if u hav noticed it

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

It does contain a kind of wax, but it doesn't cause hair loss. If your boyfriend has thin hair, he might want to try a volumizing shampoo like Full and Thick by Pantene.

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

maybe pantene doesnt suit his hair..thats quite possible.never use a particular shampoo for too long.ur hair will get used to the formula and it wont help..ask him to try a herbal shampoo..or clairol herbal essences,garnier,sunsilk,anything..avoid pantene if u r not too sure..loreal is good too..ask him to visit a salon n they will recommend a good shampoo for his hair type..

I heard that pantene prov shampoo causes hair loss!I s it true?

I've never heard of it causing hair loss but I do know it contains silicones, wax, and way too much protein (yes too much protein is bad for hair) Pantene is loaded with so mcuh crap you can't even read the ingredients! People who claim to use the same shampoo for 5 or 10 years are not your best sources simply because anyone who really knows about hair knows that we shouyld be switching shampoos every three months. Sometimes we get so into the habit of things we dont look around to see that there are better shampoos out there. Garnier Fructis is a great pantene alternative in that it contains so manyt natural oils and fruit extracts that are really good for your hair. Cocoa butter oil, avacado oil, and shea butter oil are only a few of the ingredients. Pantene claims to be loaded with its pro-vitamin formula..Well, what is that exactly???

What's the best way to wear your hair if it's thicker closer to the roots and thin at the

My hair is medium length and i can't find a way to wear it besides up in a pony tail. When i wear it down it poofs out no matter what i do.

What's the best way to wear your hair if it's thicker closer to the roots and thin at the bottom?

well my hair is medium length and i either put it in a pony tail real neatly with a hair piece or some track weave (sort of like queen latifahs iin briingin down the house) but if u need a perm dont do this!!! or i either straighten it and have my bangs!!
