I have some hair on my head doesn't seem to grow out?

some of it just grow out for about an 1 inch and stop growing. I find it where I divided my hair into one side from another. Those little hair in the middle doesn't seem to grow and a few of it stick up. though it's no obvious but if you look close you'll see it. Why doesn't it grow more instead?

btw I'm only 19 and have long thin hair.

it sounds like breakage from having thin hair.Use a wide type of pick or comb on your hair when its wet.Dont use any bristle brushes ever on wet hair.If your pinning it up or back make sure its not wet and tight that can cause breakage.The hair exspands when its wet so you dont want it tied back tight and wet.Use fabric scrunches never use rubber bands.

Whenever u get ur hair done ,, cut ,, trimmed ask the stylist to fix it ,, she might cut it a little BUT DONT DO IT URSELF ,
