Should I get my hair thinned?

I have really short thick hair.

And so I wanna have it razored at a salon.

But i'm not sure If i should.

Would it make my hair any shorter? cause I dont want it to.

I used the thinning scissors once, and it just made it huge at the top.

So will this happen with the razor?

i razored my hair at home and it gave me spikes on the top of my head

i ended up looked like a scene boy

it will look cute thin

but my hairdresser has this hair brush which thins ur hair out
